At Paintball Phenoms, we believe that paintball is more than just a game – it's a lifestyle. We're passionate about building a community of players who support and encourage each other both on and off the field.
Joel lives in Pleasant Hill, Iowa and got his start into tournament paintball with Iowa Elite in 2021. He was a casual rec ball player for a couple years before he started playing tournaments. Today, Joel plays tournaments monthly if not more frequently and still attends weekly drill nights at his local field, Des Moines Paintball Park to evolve his skills.
Joel travels often for practice and tournaments and is at a field somewhere every week. He is a member of the Live Wire paintball team based out of Tampa, Florida and Team USA based out of Boston, Massachusetts. He attends the BKI Summer Camp and multiple pro clinics every year to progress his skills.
Joel is currently ranked D3 and plays XBall and 10 man formats. He is a versatile player in either the 1 or 2 position across the field. He is a fast runner with a calculated target off break. Joel will play D3 next season and is working to further develop his skills when in the quarterback role.

Brady is from Iowa and started his paintball career in 2019. His local field is Des Moines Paintball Park where he began to practice his craft and where he still goes every week for drill nights. In 2021, he made the move to tournament play. Today, he plays 12-15 tournaments per year with teams from Florida, Texas and Iowa.
In addition to practicing every weekend at multiple fields, he regularly does hours of drills. Brady attends the BKI Summer Camp every year along with multiple pro clinics to continue to develop his talent.
Brady is ranked D3 and plays for the Shock Kidz out of Tampa, Florida. Brady predominately plays the center and the 2 on dorito side, he has a quick off the box shot, and is a strong player as he moves down the field. He is a dominant 1 v 1 opponent that is hard to beat. Brady is focused on taking his on field communication to the next level as the team plays D3 play next season.
